Features of CaddyTek Caddylite EZ Fold V8 Push Cart
Ready to know more about the features of the CaddyTek Caddylite EZ Fold V8? Let’s go for it.
Durable frame
The Caddylite EZ V8 golf push cart has a durable-looking aluminum frame that weighs around 18.5 pounds.
While the frame of this push cart probably won’t be as durable as the aircraft-grade aluminum frame of a push cart like the Clicgear Model 3.5+, it should be able to withstand a lot of beating.
What’s also remarkable about the frame of this push cart is its dimensions.
The Caddylite EZ V8 appears to be wider and longer than many golf push carts out there, which should make it a little more stable on the court.
Foldable build
The Caddylite EZ V8 golf push cart boasts a foldable design.
With a push of a button, you can fold this golf cart in 2 steps, a lot like you would with Clicgear Model 3.5+. With that being said, the EZ V8 appears to require less effort for folding down than the Model 3.5+ push cart.
When folded, the EZ V8 push cart is a bit bulky – 16.3 x 14.4 x 28.15 inches,
Which is on the bigger side of what you’d see in golf push carts nowadays.
This push cart thus isn’t the best option if you are looking for a very compact golf cart, but it still is pretty compact.
Adjustable handle
We had to talk about the handle in our caddytek caddylite EZ v8 review.
Many pushcarts allow for height adjustment to accommodate both shorter and taller golfers.
The EZ V8 has this, of course.
The height adjustment is done by changing the angle of the handle, as in many other push carts – shorter people will want to put the handle lower, while taller golfers will want to have it higher.
Convenient bag holder
The Caddylite EZ V8 pushcart has solid bag attachments.
And interestingly, this golf cart allows for a bit easier cart bag mounting than some other golf carts out there.
At the bottom, you have your regular straps which you clip around the bottom of the bag to fix it in place.
At the top, you have adjustable support arms designed to maintain the bag’s position.
Usually, golf push carts have straps both at the top and bottom.
Arguably, bottom & top straps are better since they are going to hold cart bags more securely.
With just one strap, mounting your bag maybe a little quicker with this golf cart, but we aren’t sure whether the time benefit is worth the potential loss of stability that the lack of an upper strap implies.
If you haven’t had problems with your bag rolling around though, the mounting system in this pushcart should be sufficient.
Maintenance-free wheels
The EZ V8 golf push cart has 3 maintenance-free EVA wheels.
Well, they are maintenance-free in the sense that you don’t need to inflate them since they are airless – you still need to clean them from time to time.
And they obviously also won’t puncture.
Parking footbrake
CaddyTek has equipped this Caddylite EZ V8 golf push cart with a footbrake with on and off positions.
With a push of the brake, you can switch between parking and moving modes.
Such a brake allows you to place the cart in parking mode and not worry that it will roll away while you are playing.
With that being said, if you happen to be used to handbrakes, the footbrake in the EZ V8 may seem inconvenient to you at first.
After getting used to it, you should have no problems.
Plenty of storage
Perhaps the strongest suit of the EZ V8 golf push cart is its storage capacity.
This pushcart comes with all the basic features you’d expect from a golf push cart –
A console with storage space for balls, tees, scorecards, an umbrella/phone/GPS holder, and a mesh pocket beneath the console.
The key feature in this golf cart is the included cooler bag. Many push carts have cooler bags as an option, but with the EZ V8, you are getting it by default.
If you like your drinks cool, then the included cooler bag should help you with maintaining the temperature of your drink during long golfing days.
Attractive price
And the final benefit we want to talk about on our CaddyTek Caddylite EZ fold V8 push cart review is its price.
This push cart certainly isn’t the cheapest out there, but nor is it too expensive.
And when you consider what kind of goodies it comes with – namely, the cooler bag – the price of this push cart gets really attractive.
If you are looking for the best value for your money, this push cart may be the best one out there.
